The Political Compass test is a tool that reportedly offer you a punctuation insight as to where in the political spectrum your thoughts may be, using a bi-dimensional system. I wonder how accurate it is. I have taken the test and I scored somewhere like -4,-5, which I believe reflects my political leanings.

Isidewith has lots of questions and nuanced answers. Monke Values. SapplyValues is the best political compass. For"values type tests" DozenValues and RightValues are the most accurate and most interesting (RightValues assumes that you are not a socialist - if you are, LeftValues is better for you). 76K subscribers in the PoliticalCompass ...

We've used python and to build a new political compass test. We hope the newer model better encapsulates some of the various changes in political discourse we've seen throughout the last decade. Any feedback is greatly appreciated.

Not too simple like the original compass, but not too overbloated with too much extra stuff like 9axes, altvalues or politiscales. I think Sapply is the best compass test, while 8 values is the best overall test. Generally speaking, the extended version of 9axes. If you are rightist, I reccomend right values test.

No, the political compass test isn’t terribly useful. Maybe someone who’s just trying to get into understanding politics and where they align could stumble into a starting point with it. From what I recall the questions are pretty basic and don’t make you think terribly hard about anything.

Use them to discover loosely close ideologies and then look them up more deeply by yourself. That being said, PolitiScale, SapplyValues, and 8Values are usually pretty good go-to tests. And depending on your position, I'd add either LeftValues or RightValues for a bit more details and variety within a broader position.
